FAQs
Do I need my own equipment?
Nearly all ranges will have equipment available for rent. While I recommend starting with a recurve bow, compound equipment is available as well.
Is there a risk of injury?
Most major injuries and accidents come from improper maintenance of equipment. It’s always good practice to check for cracks in the bow and broken strings. If you find damage, immediately take it to a archery shop for repair.
What’s the minimum age?
Children will need to be able to listen to instructions and follow safety rules. Additionally, they will need to be able to properly handle equipment to have a fun experience. If you’re unsure about equipment, stop by your local shop and they’ll be happy assist.
Is archery hard to learn?
In most chases, an individual can learn the basics within the hour introductory class. However, it takes time and consistency to become proficient, then a lifetime of practice to perfect.
How many classes do i take?
Depending on your goals, we recommend 1-3 Introductory Classes. This will help create a solid foundation as well as offer the most benefit for private lessons.
Is archery worth it?
There are many benefits to learning archery goal setting, mental toughness, and physical strength are all exercised when practicing the sport.
